Lately, for some reason I've started making mix CDs for people. I've never really done that kind of thing in the past, but now I've grown to really like it.

The mix included here was made for my niece, I wanted to introduce her to some music that she would probably never hear otherwise. It's kind of funny, but this mix started out with a very different feel then what it ended up with. I started out with the Theme from Shaft and intended to build a kind of fun mix from there. Somehow I ended up with a compilation of slow bluesy tracks, with the Theme from Shaft providing a transition into a more fiery up tempo ending.

I absolutely love this mix.
